Refund policy

ORDER CANCELLATIONS:

NO ORDER CANCELLATIONS, NO ORDER EXCHANGES, NO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS. After your order has been submitted it cannot be canceled.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Due to the hygiene nature and the increase demand of our products, all sales are final. However, certain unused items (seal has not been broken) are eligible for a store credit. 

Non-returnable items: 

  • Clip ins
  • Tape ins
  • K Tips
  • Bulk braiding hair
  • Edge control, Hair wax, Bonnets 
  • Closures & Frontals
  • Clearance and sale items

RETURN policy in detail.

To start a return process, you must contact us first by email within 2 days of receiving your order at  info@shadesofmelaninhair.com to inform us of the nature of the return. 

We have a 2-day return policy, which means you have 2 days after receiving your item to request a return. If it has been passed 2 days, the return option is voided. 

Customers are advised to send all returns back to us within 5 days of notifying us to qualify for a store credit. Any returns not sent by the 6th day will void your return.

*Returning the product is the customer's responsibility on shipping fees back to us. Send us the tracking information to track the returned product back to us. Please note: We are not responsible for lost packages in transit back to us.

*To be eligible for a store credit your item must be in the same condition that you received it from us. Hair package unopened, unworn, unused, with tags attached and in its original packaging. Also, if the seal is broken and/or tampered with, it cannot be returned nor a store credit can be issued.  

We will process your store credit, once we receive the product back in the following conditions mentioned above. If it is returned damaged, the product will be returned to you and no store credit will be given.

*Store credits are applied to your account within 24 hours after accepting the return.

RESTOCKING FEE ON RETURNS:

A flat $15 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund (store credit). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

LOST AND/OR STOLEN PACKAGES:

*We are not responsible for lost, stolen and/or incorrectly delivered packages. If this happens, contact the carrier and file a claim.
